vox vs dunlop
Question: i know there is a lot of wah qustions so please don t close it whhich would you ger the VOX V848 Clyde McCoy Wah-Wah or a Dunlop 535Q Cry Baby Wah Pedal Answer: To me, the VOX stayed true to the guitar's tone. The sound was crystall clear and untainted. THe dunlop, in my opinion sounded a bit muffled and the high frequencies didn't come out as much. When I step on the wah, I want it to SCREAM!!! haha. good luck. And oh yeah, don't bother with the 848. If you're gonna go with VOX, then get the 847 and do the true bypass switch mod. I got a kit off of ebay and it also came with a new resistor to increase the volume of the pedal. Answer: They're both good. Get one based on preference. Vox will sound like better quality, nice and smooth. The Crybaby is more for a nice crappy sound, and yes that's actually possible. I use a crybaby, and except for the fact that the pot is scratchy, I like the tone I get from it. If I were to play rock and roll blues or something, then I might consider vox instead. Not that either is confined to any one genre of music, just saying what I would do. Answer: Wich one does my chemical romance use? Or project 86? Wich one should i get if i need one that would do good for rock(like my chemical romance) but also good for clean(david crowder sometimes does). And i need one that wont muddy my sound, when its off. Answer: Morley but out of the two, i'd take a Crybaby. Answer: I like the Vox. And I second the 847 reccomendation. I have a Morley, tho, and love it. Answer: Originally Posted by SwitchfootRulz!
