Ebow

Question:
Does anyone have a EBOW?? I am getting one for Christmas and is wondering if anybody has one and loves it?? or doesn't like or likes it. Thanks.
Answer:
I've got one. You can get a really smooth.. nice sound from them. I personally don't use mine a whole lot. Accasionally in some slower worship songs. You can apply them to pretty much any song in almost any style of music I just don't usually. It's a neat tool to have and can definatly expand your tone.
Answer:
do a search for it. There was a thread on this recently.

Answer:
The Ebow is awesome! I've had mine for roughly two years now and it is incredibile effect. It takes a while to learn how to control the ebow, basically your learning how to use your left and right hands together to control the Ebow. All types of effects are available to you with this thing. Volume Swells, infinite sustain, harmonics, crazy slides, and cool noises that you eventually learn how to make. Play the Ebow with some Delay, Reverb, and a wah pedal...Now that sounds awesome.
The main thing to remember is that you have to learn to control it, the first few days you play with it are the worst. But be patient with it, and turn your guitar down!!! These things shoot a crazy amount of gain onto the string and pickups and your guitar gets very loud!!! Later...Enjoy!!!
