I was looking at purchasing a LX1200H Model Head that has uber features but my problem is that although I've been playing for a couple of years I've never invested in a stack at all..I know nothing about them...when looking at a head that says its 120 watts and then looking at a cab does that mean that your pushing 120 watts all together because I have only ever played combos so I am confused on the whole topic. I wanted to know... if the head is 120 watts and the cab can take all of that and more what would be the total wattage that my stack will be putting out?

if the head is 120W, the cab will put out up to 120W. No matter what, the cab isn't going to put out more than the head does. the cab wattage rating just means how much power the cab can handle before things start going downhill.
