Bags for POD

Question:
I recently bought a POD XT Live, and now i'm looking for a carrying case to make sure i dont wreck it while traveling or anything like that. I also want the case for carrying my capos, picks, cables, sliders and other various accessories arround in. I've looked at the official Line 6 bag they sell, which goes for arround 50$. I've also been seeing the gator gk-2110, which apparently fits the POD perfectly, and it runs for amost half the price! does anyone know of any reason why i shouldn't get the cheaper one? Less pocket space? bad material? any advice would rock!
Answer:
Well...I don't know if this helps, but I didn't get a soft case for my POD. I modified a pistol case (cut out some of the foam interiorr) and use it to carry the unit. The shell is a very hard plastic and the interior foam. Seems to work really well. I generally carry around the cables and such in a backpack.
The case cost me about $50-$60, and I definitely don't have any regrets.
Answer:
I haven't actually seen the official case, but I do use the Gator case with my POD. It is quite nice, and has enough space to carry my leather strap, two cables, power supply, and a bunch of random items. For light travel, it does all I need it to do.
Answer:
OK here's something else my Dad as pointed out, I've got a bunch of similar looking bags lying arround my house (my dad's a computer guy, they're laptop bags for Thinkpads) and i'm thinking it just might fit one of those! if it fits, that saves me like 50$
Answer:
I have a gator bag I use for my POdxt and it fits and everything so its good...
