How cool is this?
Question: OK, so I've been raving a lot about my new amp, the Visual Sound Workhorse Pony. I mean, it really is a wonderful amp that I keep hearing compliments about. Well, I was registering the amp and noticed the low serial number that ended with 0002. So, I wrote the company and got this reply back: "Thanks for the email. I’m so glad you love the amps. We've tried to create something that is not only intuitive and cool, but swings for the fences as far as sound. I believe we’ve done that, and people like yourself continue to confirm that. Thank you. Well... Guess what... Somehow, unbeknownst to any of us here one of the low number amps slipped out... You have #2! Bob has #1... How cool is that! Many blessings..." "Bob" is Bob Weil, founder of Visual Sound, and I am right behind him in the order of production! I am simply stunned and blown away! Answer: That is sweet, really really sweet. Answer: I hate you... [/jealousy]... flipping sweet man.... Answer: That is pretty awesome! Hold onto that amp, it could be worth a whole lot of dough someday. Answer: Noiiice! Hey, if you get tired of that amp... tell me. Answer: Originally Posted by Rainer. Noiiice! Hey, if you get tired of that amp... tell me. Maybe I'll even let you play it. How's that for a deal? You're pretty close to where I live. Answer: But then we might have a GASsy situation on our hands. Answer: That's pretty dang cool man. *thumbsup* Answer: Not only is that cool...its awesome Answer: Originally Posted by RipVanWinkle Not only is that cool...its awesome grrrr, you beat me! You know, I once owned and sold a prototype Kramer guitar (MIK). I should have kept it because it was truly a one-of-a-kind, pre-production guitar. But, I made a friend in Italy, so it was worth it. Answer: Well my suhr is like #4488, I think even THAT is pretty good, when you consider that the gibson and fender SN's are like 5 times that long with numbers and what not, haha Answer: Wow, that's something! Answer: hmm could be a collector's item you can sell for a lot of $$$ later! Answer: Originally Posted by crazychu hmm could be a collector's item you can sell for a lot of $$$ later! I don't think he's looking to sell... I think he would be the collector in this case. Wayne is weird Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
