Drums, TBoz?

Question:
Yo, Tommy.
I just laid these tracks down, and I'm not quite sure myself where to go with the drums. So here it is with a click track, and I was wondering if you could give it a listen. The end, the timing gets a bit off, hope that's workable, I'll probably re-record it if I get some drums going. You'd have to pardon the fuzziness, it's the max bitrate I could get while staying under CGR's size limit.
I know this seems PM-like, but I'm sure the regulars here would be interested in the progress of this one.
Answer:
Jon,
Gotcha covered bro. I downloaded it and will get you a track first chance I get. It should work just fine. The metronome is a good mix. I'll keep ya posted.

Answer:
Jon,
You know, I was playing around with this tune and had a couple ideas. You know at the very end of the song you have this open guitar with a delay etc... That would sound great in the beginning and in the middle as a break with the tighter groove parts inbetween and the harder edgier power chord part after a middle break.
So If I can communicate this correctly,
Opening of song. Delayed open guitar to build into an introduction. Drums doing tom fills and a kick part to keep the rhythm
Verse progression with the tighter groove. Maybe a little faster timing (just picked up a bit)
Chorus: The same.
2nd verse? Same
Chorus into the a break (Introduction part again- delayed guitar open)
Chorus out: louder edgier part you already have.
Make sense? I don't know?
That part on the end is hard to just leave there. Without knowing the other parts its hard to tell.
I can do it, just the way you have it, but I get a little lost in the end.
Good song.
Answer:
Ha, yeah, I'd love to rearrange some parts (good to have input, I didn't quite know where to go with it myself). I can do it now, and post the new mix ASAP.
Answer:
Cool bro, I will look for it.
Answer:
Well, I decided to drop that last part entirely. I have a sort of songwriting ADD sometimes, I fly off into completely random riffs halfway into a tune.
I added some delayed parts around the tune, and overall I think it flows much better. I'll still add some parts later, but this is a basis.
So here's the new revised edition...

I'm subscribing to this thread, I want to see where this goes.
Answer:
Jon...it sound really good. The distorted thing? at the end was a bit overpowering, but I really REALLY like this song so far!

Alright, I finally got a chance to listen to this. I agree with Jeff, it sounds great. I can't wait to hear what Tommy does with it.
Answer:
Jon,
Sounds better bud! I was thinking of a little longer mid break with that delayed guitar part.
I hope to get to this song by this weekend. I am working on a cut right now and should finish it in the next day or so. I can get called into work though. (Darn work anyawy!)
Answer:
Yeah, I know that you were thinking more of an actual break, but I don't quite know how I'd fit that into the scheme of the song, so that's how it is.
Answer:
Jon,
Actually, break is not the right choice of words. Nothing actually breaks. It is more like keeping the main guitar rhythm going under the delayed guitar parts (Layering). It think it may work well for layering textures in this song.
I am not even going to comment on the "so that's how it is". I about cried you know try the layering thing just to give it a listen. I know I'm a pushy sucker huh?
I promise, I'll be a good little drummer for you after that
TBoz
Answer:
Alright. I'll play around with it tomorrow.
