I got my new amp!!!!

Question:
I took my Vox VT15AD back because the effects and distortion were not to my liking and came home with a Line 6 Spider II 112. It is absolutely *awesome*! The OD/DS are great, the effects actually have quality (unlike vox) and it sounds great. All with a 12" speaker and 75 watts. It can get very loud w/o breaking up. I love it.
Answer:
sounds like fun. if i hadn't bought my carvin i probably would've gotten the spider. any clips?
Answer:
I will do some recording a but later. All I can say is it replaces my ME-50.
Answer:
Yeah, for the money the Spider is a great amp. I use one when I play at church (seeing as I have no way of using my Traynor ). The only thing about it that I don't like is how it can be a pain to set all the EQ/effects to your liking. Especially when people come in and play with it every week so you have to reset it constantly.
Answer:
Congrats. I must say though, you are the first I have ever say that about the Vox. Fact is the ad50vt just eats the line 6 up. The ad15vt is a little weak due to the 8" speaker. When you went to the 12" in the line 6 you are going to notice a big improvement. But the Vox ad50vt is head and shoulders above the Spider IMHO. The only problem with the Vox is their initial reliability, but once you get past that they can not be beat for a moddling amp.
I do think that a moddling amp is the best thing for a worship service due to the tonal ground they can cover. The Line 6 does allow for the most presets which could be to your advantage while playing in church.
Good luck.
Answer:
Gearup: That probably is true about the wattage issue. I assume that higher wattage and more expensive amps have more quality. I tried the Line 6 15w and 30w and they didn't sound great at all.. So I agree that you are probably right about that.
Answer:
The VOX is a good amp, but if you're after heavy metal tones, the Line6 definately is the prefered pick.
