Answered prayers
Question: First of all, God always comes through. I've been praying for the necessary equipment to make a good recording and it has taken a long time but my prayers have been answered. I have been given $500 to get the final components to the studio set up. I plan on buying an Audio Technica AT3035, two MXL 993's [matched pair], a pair of Studiopro active monitors, and a PreSonus Bluetube mic pre. That will make the setup go like this: Mic's: Audix D1 x 2 Audix D4 SM57 x 2 AT3035 MXL 993 x 2 Pre's/Interface: Alesis MultiMix 12 Firewire Presonus Bluetube DAW: MacBook 1.83 Ghz Cubase LE Garageband M-Audio Studiopro active monitors I just felt like letting you guys know that I wont be pulling anymore flip-flops I'll just find something else to bug you about an change my mind 30 times over. But if you have any comments [or suggestions] feel free to share. God bless! EDIT: scratch the MXL matched pair, substitute a pair of PG81's. {see below} Answer: You should get duct tape. 'Cause duct tape is awesome. Answer: I needed duct tape last night at a church we played at. What kind of church doesnt have duct tape? Answer: REMIX! EDIT! HOLD UP! So I was talking to God......on ebay......and in order to fit these things in a $500 budget i'm looking for them cheaper on ebay. "God, I need to find this vocal mic on ebay for less than its price ($200)". God- "Aight, here you is, dog" *God shows me the same mic brand new for $135* "Sweet, G, thanks. I also gotta find this MXL matched pair for less than its price ($169)". God "No way, homes. I aint doin that" Me- "What? Why not?" God - "Because i'm going to give you something better" *God shows me a PAIR of brand new PG81's for $165* WOO! God rocks. Ain't nobody than can shop ebay any better. wOrD! Answer: Skip the duct tape, go buy a nice big reel of gaffers tape. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
