Pedalboard questions

Question:
I have a few pedals but also a multi-effects processor....
my effects are line 6 podxt, boss superoverdrive, digitech hot rod distortion, morley classic wah
my guess is to put the podxt first then the overdrive or distortion and end with the wah....
but how do you typically set up a pedalboard?...by that I mean what order should the MOD, distortion, wah, and delay go in?

Answer:
yeah that's probably a good idea....I hooked up the wah and the podxt together....and when I put the wah last you lost almost all of the podxt tone, but when I put the wah first, it sounded much better....
I'm thinking I'll try to hook it up like this
morley classic wah>boss overdrive>digitech hot rod distortion>line 6 podxt
Answer:
^That would be the "standard" way of doing things. Wah>Overdrive>Distortion>Multi-FX

ok sounds good thanks....I think I'll go with that....
Answer:
It's about what kind of sound you want. Look at it this way: pick the signal you want processed. Do you want the POD to process the signal with dist/wah/od? Or do you want those to process the signal from the POD? Whatever comes last in your chain will have the most influence of anything in the chain. Hence, the effects loop came into existence
Answer:
I see what you're saying....well I probably want the pod last because it has the best quality.....
