I just can't seem to get it to work. It shows that the POD is inputting to the computer, but when I record, and then try to play it back, I can't hear anything.

When you use the XTLive in tracktion, it makes your XT Live your soundcard (basically). You should be able to click on the settings tab (after you've recorded) and change your audio device back to your computer's sound card to listen to it (or just plug headphones into your xtlive)

Ah. I will let you know if that's the problem once I try it out. I don't feel like bring all my junk back into the dining room right now.

Yep. When recording with the XTL, it's usually easiest to just plug headphones in the XTL for all the recording, and go back to the soundcard to mix everything down. However, I've found that it boosts the signal a lot on the POD, so turn down the master level on T2 significantly before playing back on the XTL.
