favorite delay settings

Question:
so i just got my dd20 in the mail today and ive been playing around with it, but havnt found something that i REALLY like just yet. what are some of your favorite settings that you guys use. im playing a set for a revival thingy tommorow night so any tips ASAP would be usefull i used to use my simple v-amp delay and i thought i would have more time to play around with this thing so yea...^_^
Answer:
Okay... I'm not familiar with the DD-20, but I wanna try to help you out. I hope you get this in time for the revival thingy
I use an Echo Park and by looking at the picture of the DD-20 there are similar controls. Here's where I set my echo park...
E.Level @ 12:00 (straight up)
Feedback @ 9:00
Tone @ 9:00
Mode: analog
Tap tempo type: dotted eighth
I'd try starting there and fine tune to your tastes... or to compensate for any differences between the two pedals.
Answer:
I own one of them their things and I like to take the setting where the volume builds on each delay and tap the tempo of the song. During a bridge where all instruments cut out click it on and let it build while everything is quiet. Then come in with everything.
Answer:
thanks for the msg and yes i did read it on time. i didnt use much delay because i was still getting used to the pedal, but for when i did use it, i just kinda used it to make my lead parts more full with very light settings on the standard mode. for some reason i dont like the analog setting which everyone else likes...it totally changes the tone of my guitar. does anyone else experience this?
after playing with it a bit more ive found that i liked this
E. lvl: 3:00
Feedback: 12:00
Tone: 12:00
Mode: standard and smooth. some times modulation works pretty good
tempo: dotted eight
col. ghillie: are you talking about the warp function? i like it alot but it tends to get REALLY loud and then when you back off your normal delays sound really quiet haha
the twist function is TRIPPY. but very fun to play around with. i used it while jamming with "blessed be your name" with alot of distortion and holding and pressing the button. very fun sounding, but i would never use it during a real set hahaha. anyone find practical uses for this function?
also i hear people talking about volume swells or something whenever delays are talked about. what are these and hwo do i do em.
