their guitarist alex has this weird spacey sounding effect that he uses ALOT. what is that? im sure those of you who watch know what im talking about. im thinking flanger or something but ive never used one so i dunno

Not familiar with their work, but I just listened to the previews on ITunes. I heard a ring modulator on "Give'Em What They Want" and a unique sounding envelope filter (or maybe wah) on "Foxes" Cool use of a wah on a few others.
