new pedals

Question:
i got a proco vintage rat and a tech 21 double drive today. i like them. i kinda wasn't diggin them @ first, but i really like them now. they are very versatile, especially the rat. if you fiddle w/ the settings, you can get some really sweet OD/DS, that evens sounds good w/ full chords. tomorrow i'm going to borrow my friends MT2 and i see if i like that, cause he's selling it.

Answer:
The MT-2 is an awesome pedal for solos especially, along with powerchords. Add a little reverb and delay and you got a spankin' solo.
Congrats on your new toys.
Answer:
WAIT WAIt WAit Wait wait... If you have a ME-50.... you have the MT-2 already.... Just set the drive *really* high and you got metal.
Answer:
The MT-2 is good, and versatile (especially with the active tone stack on it) but I'd rather use the rat. It's definately a very popular pedal... it just doesn't suit my tastes

Answer:

Answer:
Ibanez: Ahh I see.

Answer:
Yeah good point I never thought about that.
Answer:
i have been trying out the mt2, and i love it. very crunchy type sound, and pretty versatile too.
Answer:
man...every MT-2 i've seen live sounded like overprocessed mid-scooped poop to me. i've heard good things about the modded ones, but not the stock ones.
