MS-2 Mini Amp
Question: I saw this little Marshall amp in Musicians Friend the other day. Thought it was kind of cool. This is it. I've been wanting a little practice amp that I could easily carry around with headphone jacks and perferablly battery powered. Anyone had any experience with this? For $40 it seems ok. I'm not lookin for anything to crank out tons of volume and rock the house down. Just something to play at night when my parents are asleep, or to take to a friends house or just sit outside and play. Should I get this? Or maybe save up for a Microcube or something? Answer: i know that one of my buddies had a micro cube by roland battery powered and that little thing sounded pretty good. i never heard the one your talking about Answer: Yea the micro cube is pretty good for it's size, but I wasn't really wanting to spend a whole lot just for a little practice amp. Answer: I dunno about the Micro Cube, but i've played through the mini Marshalls and it sounded like crap. There is no way anyone could ever get anything remotely ressembling a decent tone out of one of them. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
