Well, if you can spend a few thousand dollars, I have some ideas for the best possible combos you can buy... but why don't you just give us a price range.
Answer:
Dumble
Answer:
Or a Torres clone dumble...
I was going to say a Crate gfx 15...jokingly of course
Answer:
The best combo? Depends. For me, it's my Rivera, BUT, there are a ton of boutique and special made boutique amps that I want to get my hands on. Are you talking clean or high gain amps? You want an amp with a lot of features or one with just one volume and a tone knob? Price range? Tube or digital? # of speakers? Power output? Old? New? Brand and type of speaker?

Answer:
Vox AC30.

before i tell you this let me first tell you guys that i'm torn between getting a digital amp and buying a seperate board for it OR getting a tube/whatever else is there amp and getting multiple pedals with a pedalboard (problem with that would probably be the $$)
-Price Range - Im looking for an amp around 0-600% (gona be doing monthly payments on it on MusiciansFriend)
-Necessity - I will mostly be needing it for my church's p/w worship team and just for some home playing. It wont be hooked to the main system so my volume will only be depended on the amp itself, looking for something 100-150w
-Frequency - Im going to be using this atleast twice a week and how many other times at home.
-Musical Style - everything, mostly alternative rock and contemporary worship (hillsong, jimmy eat world, country!?!??!)
-Current Setup - I currently use a squier strat mij and an older fender bassman at my church. I'm going to be buying (hopefully, maybe) a fender deluxe strat (basically a MIJ with american pickups)
-Experience - playing for about 5 years, i've played with the flextone 3 a lot because of this versatility and easiness of using it, and if i get that, prolly a shortboard to along with it
-Personal Research - line 6 flextone 3 and shortboard, i play with it everytime i goto guitar center
-Shopping - PROBABLY musician's friend, if not, guitar center, if not, classifieds
-Timeline - hopefully in 3 months?

The best combo amp for you, would be the Flextone since you've been playing it a lot and you like it. Anyway, that changes the context of the question, so go for it!

You say you won't be "hooked" into the main system--does that mean you won't be running a direct line into the system, or you won't be miking your amp and sending it to the main board?
IMHO, you're closing off a lot of good options if you aren't going to be miking the amp, by requiring it to be higher wattage. A lot of good smaller-wattage combo amps would work great for you, but might not necessarily have the juice to amplify to the whole room. I would seriously consider miking the amp so you have a LOT more options to choose from.
Also, even with louder amps, if you don't mic the amp, a lot of times you get a large blast of sound in one direction (the specific direction the amp is pointing) and the rest of the house gets little if any of your sound.

Ok. Not to sound rude or anything, but you don't need 100-150w... unless you're playing in a stadium-sized venue unmiked. (How big is the area you'll be playing in?)
Wattage is way overrated, and wattage does not equal tone. Especially if you're looking at getting a tube amp. If you get a medium-large sized tube amp, you won't be able to overdrive the power amp without either 1) an expensive (commercial) attenuator or 2) hearing damage.
I've played easily at church with a 5w tube amp without having any trouble (~200 people). I typically play with a 30w solid state amp turned _way_ down. (both unmiked).
15-30w would _probably_ be fine for you. Speaker efficiency is actually a bigger deal with loudness than wattage.

If you plan on moving it a lot, you don't want something huge. Solid state tends to be quite a bit lighter, watt for watt -- especially as tube amps get larger in power.

I'd suggest looking into Sweetwater. They have sponsored CGR, and I've had excellent service from them... not sure how they do monthly payments though.

My experience with digital vs. tube is this:
Digital amps tend to be like a buffet. They offer a lot of choices and options, but the quality doesn't tend to be the highest, and some of the options are often downright bad.
Tube amps are like entrees. They are usually of much better quality than their buffet counterparts, but you usually get one main dish and some sides (or an eggroll).
I've found that the digital amps (I've got a Vox AD30vt) of good quality aren't a bad thing. I've had that amp for several years and while I feel I've 'outgrown' its sound, it was a good investment and it did help me figure out what I want in a nicer tube amp.
Answer:
ive never actually tried any tube amps, are there any tube amps out there you guys suggest me playing around with at my local GC?

what is a bright/warm tone? =( Bright means that the tone is more trebley (more high end). Warm, at least to me, means more mid and mid-high tones.
