New Engl Fireball
Question: Hi guys, I finally got my new amp: an Engl Fireball Last night I sat down with it, and recorded a couple of short clips. The quality isn't great as I was recording using a PC microphone, and be warned - I'm not the greatest guitarist on earth: Engl Fireball - Clean Engl Fireball Gain channel (Rose of Sharyn) And here's some happy snaps of my amp: I'm pretty happy with it Nathan. Answer: Looks very nice, i hope you enjoy it greatly Answer: it's good to see an ENGL owner on the site. I haven't ever used one, but I've never read a bad thing about them. Answer: sounds and looks nice. Only thing is I can hear your actual guitar picking as loud as I can hear the amp. I'd like to hear just the amp. Congrats! Answer: Sweet! Now, of course, you must tell us how much it cost. Answer: Originally Posted by Casey sounds and looks nice. Only thing is I can hear your actual guitar picking as loud as I can hear the amp. I'd like to hear just the amp. Yeah, I was using one of those computer headphone / microphone sets. So of course my guitar was going to be closer then my amp is. It also came out thinner sounding then it did in real life - but until I get a decent microphone, and can mic up the amp itself, there's nothing I can really do about it. Originally Posted by Rainer. Mind you prices for musical equipment is always inflated in Australia. I also played a Framus Cobra, Engl Powerball, Engl Blackmore, Peavey 6505+, and a Mesa Dual Rec, but decided on the Fireball (it was cheaper, still sounded great, and I didn't need more then 60 watt, nor fancy features). It ended up costing about the same as a Marshall Mode 4 would have. Answer: Lol, that says a bit about the mode4. good choice. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
