Loop Pedal

Question:
Ok, i need some loop pedal suggestions. Nothing too big, casue i need something cheap, if it can run 1 or 2 loops at a time, that should be good.
As cheap as there is.
Answer:
loop as in "looping delay" or loop as in "true bypass loop"?

loop as in, play a riff or rhythm progression, then stomp the box so it keeps repeating that what i just played, so i can solo along or whatever
Answer:
hmmm, look into the BOSS RC-2. Simplest looper I know of. Since EHX is phasing out the 16-Second delay, you might be able to get one of those cheap in the near future. That's what I use, and I'm pretty happy with it.
Answer:
so it will loop for ever? like you can play along with it for however long?
Answer:
yeah, the RC-2 is a dedicated looper. You just record a phrase, and it will loop it forever. I think it even lets you save your loops. There are better ones out there, but this is probably as good an introductory pedal as you could ever get.

and its cheap $$?
Answer:
The boss RC-2 is probably the best choice you have, you could save 16 loops, it has a built in drum machine with tap tempo, I think its $180 and honestly...I would get it if i had the money.
Answer:
There is no such thing a cheap looper.
Answer:
i'll check ebay for it, maybe i can get one for $100
I just bought an ipod, i can't afford to spend $200.
Answer:
they're brand new, so I doubt you'll find one so cheap so soon. And bobthecockroach is right, loopers do not come cheap. Cheap-er, but not cheap. (Except my 16-Second Delay...but that was a once in a lifetime deal....)
Answer:
I sold an old digitech looper for a coworker a while ago that was roughly 120...

according to him it was a good entry level looper. (he plays professionally in a large rock en espanol band) He decided he wasn't the type to use a looper.
Anyway, it would probably be easy enough to take a very small loss on it if you resold it because you hated it...
