How does this setup look?

Question:
I'm thinking about setting up a new effects rig. My current one (after MUCH abuse) is starting to short out. It switches patches randomly and adjusts parameters when it shouldn't and such. Also, I was never quite happy with the way it sounded straight into a sound system.
I know a bunch of you will tell me to get a PODXT Live, but I'm trying to stay away from something like that after what happened to my previous system. I guess I'm pretty brutal with my foot pedals, so having something that can easily and cheaply be replaced is a plus.
So here's what I'm thinking. My guitar into a Marshall JMP-1 Preamp>Digital reverb pedal>Morley Wah pedal>Volume pedal>EQ pedal (I use EQ a lot and want to get a ton of versatility out of it)> Compressor/sustainer/DI combo
I don't really use many other effects besides Distortion reverb and occasionally Wah, but is there anything else you think I need? I'll control the JMP with a cheap midi foot controller or something.
Comments or opinions?
Answer:
I'd put the 'verb at the end along with the JMP, just before the DI. The chain would be volume->wah->Eq->JMP-1->Reverb->DI
I would also recommend getting some kind of foldback. maybe by using a cheap amp from one of the JMP outputs (surely its got an output or something).
Otherwise, sounds interesting. I would personally get a seperate speaker simulator if not having a cab, and maybe get a really good DI that has an effects loop for the Verb, and have a seperate compressor instead of one built into the DI.
Are you using the JMP-1 as an amp sound or just for distortion. I would recommend using the JMP-1 for amp sounds instead of just as a distortion, and setting the eq for each amp sound carefully and control it with a decent footpedal. I would also have a tuner (you could get a rack one since you've got a rack JMP).
Answer:
Since you're going rack FX, TC Electronics has the G Major rack FX processor. I've heard incredible things about them. You can control it by using a MIDI footpedal. And you said you could control your JMP with MIDI too.
Answer:
I would second the G-Major. I hear it is incredible for the money ($400 I think?). Just get a MIDI controller and an OD/Dist stompbox or two and you'll be set.
Answer:
if your going analog, grab a chorus and maybe a flanger. that stuff gets freaky fun. oh and echo/delay, can't beat that.
Answer:
I looked into the G major already. I'm gonna have to add up what it's worth though. I don't use a whole lot of effects. Typically it's just reverb and overdrive and occasionally wah. If I can get these things seperately for cheaper, it just makes sense to do that. If I need an off the wall effect, I can just throw my old pedal into the mix for that.
