Behringer V-amp
Question: Going against the grain here. Anyone had a lot of experience with one of these? I'm basically looking for a modeller to have in my room at uni so that I don't have to have an amp and therefore upset my lovely housemates. I would love to get a POD, but I don't have the money and since I'm only going to be using it to practice, I don't see the point of having a really amazing bells and whistles modeller, and yet I don't want to get a Digitech again after really not being overly impressed by the RP100. So, the Behringer falls into the category nicely. Its about £70. Let me know. Thanks and God bless. Answer: My guitar teacher has one. And it defenetly sounds decent. Answer: I've have the Vamp2 and it cannot compare with my Digitech GNX3000. But, with your limitations it would probably be worth it to get one used. It is very simple to use and is easily tweaked. Answer: Try out the new Zoom G2 and the Digitech RP150; they are both are upgraded with new chips and new features. Answer: I've been looking at the Line 6 UX-1 and UX-2 as well. Since I'd be at my desk all the time practicing, I may be better spending the same(ish) amount of money and be able to record stuff as well. What does everyone think?
