Ok guys im just been wondering about this right now. Right now I have a Orange Crush 15 watt solid state this little thing is LOUD! Lets compare to ryans MTS all tube amp.....Ok he has it on half wattage (50 watts) and one speaker. Now my amp can pretty much keep up with it until it reachs about 7-8. Now since less wattage amps mostly cost less could I get by with 15 watts tube?

Could you get by with 15W tube? maybe...just like the SS amp, it's going to vary based on speaker effciency and circuit efficiency. 15W tube is beastly, but will it compete with the MTS in terms of headroom? No clue.

Yeah, you can probably compete with 25W tube easily, but if he's running full on 50W or so, you may be able to match volume, but not before you get some serious power tube saturation.
