It sounds very good. You can hear clips and see a video on it on www.line6.com -Nick Answer: Originally Posted by thesteve the EHX Grail series tend to be pretty recommended pedals. yes, they are. and for good reason. Answer: I've heard the good things about the Line 6 also. I like the DigiTech X-series verb, it has a decent sound. The EHX is pretty cool, it's got that nice "flerb" mode. Answer: i would also definitely check out the Danelectro Spring King. it's built to behave like a spring reverb, but in a pedal form. Yeah, it's annoying when spings rattle when you don't want them too... I wish I had a sound clip so I could demonstrate how it's useful, but it was on a friend's CD and I don't know the name of the band. Answer: Originally Posted by dcunning30 Is that a desirable sound? Reverb abuse was definitely more prominent in mainstream styles of music at the height of surf music in the early/mid 1960s. Personally, I love giving my Acoustic 150 a swift topside smash to get that warm, huge reverb echo. Answer: Originally Posted by dcunning30 Is that a desirable sound? It can be. Check out "Shotgun" by Jr. Walker and the Alll Stars. The opening sound is like a shotgun blast simulated by dropping the amp about and inch so the spring reverb is moved.
