Peavey Studio Chorus 70

Question:
Hey Guys, i play e-guitar for a few month now, recently bought a epiphone LP. Now i found a Amp in our basement and i am not sure what to make of it.
"Peavey Studio Chorus 70"
I couldn't find much more than a short manual on the peavey homepage and i am wondering now, if the amp is any good.

atm the lead channel and with that the lead gain adjustments don't work, and as far as the gain goes its quite loud and it appears to have a loose connection some where. i am not sure if the bright and thick switch work...
So in any case it would need some basic repairs. If anyone of you can tell me some more information about it, i plan to hand it in to get it repaired. Or at least to find some friend who will have a closer look at it.
As for the setting i will use it in, i am playing in a worship band with a small rock attitude ;-).
thx for the Help

Answer:
In my experience, the Peavey Studio Chorus line was a decent amp series. Fender made the Princeton and Ultimate Chorus series to jump in the same market as the Roland Jazz Chorus, and Peavey made the Studio Chorus line.
That being said, the last Studio Chorus 70 to sell on eBay sold for about $145 including shipping. If your SC70 needs any serious repairs, it's going to cost at least that much to get it fixed. You can read some reviews on the Studio Chorus line at Harmony Central to give you an idea of what people thought about this series in general.
