FS: 1998 Fender Telecaster , American Standard
Question: Ok folks, I'm putting my '98 Telecaster up for sale. Here's the specs: American Standard model black body (ash or alder?) maple neck w/ maple fretboard stock pickups w/ Delta Tone electronics black Schaller strap locks (stock is silver) black Fender single-ply '52 reissue pickguard (stock is white/black/white) black Electrosocket jack bezel (stock is chrome) Fender 4-way-switch (stock is 3 way) I'm including the stock pickguard, switch and jack bezel with the sale. Also included is a black nylon Fender strap w/ Schaller strap locks and original Fender molded hardshell case and original Fender docs. The guitar is a high 9 out of 10. The only surface flaw is a small paint bubble near the tone control which has been there since new. I'm the first owner of this guitar, purchased new at ABC Music in Burbank, CA. It plays perfectly and sounds like a Tele should. I'm selling it because I have several other guitars and never play it. Price is $750 firm and that includes standard domestic U.S. shipping. Here's a recent pic (it's the one on the left, duh) and I'll post or email more as requested: Tele picture email or pm me with any questions: gtrdave@yahoo.com Answer: Ah, dude, stop tempting me! I want a Tele so bad, but I can't justify another guitar, and I don't have any money anyway. Answer: Hey, a little off topic, but what is the other guitar you have in the pic you posted? she's a beaut. Answer: It's a Godin...can't remember the exact model. Shouldn't be too hard to figure out what on their website though. Answer: The Godin is a Solidac. It is a two-voice guitar (electric & bridge transducer). I know 'cause I got one!
