Anyone have experience with these cabs? Their 2x12 model looks real nice with the Vintage 30's in it.
They also look pretty cheap, so I'd like some input.

I used an avatar 212 semi closed back for a while until we blew one of the speakers in it. it was nice.

I prefer open back cabs, unless it's a 4x12. But 2x12's, open back cabs sound great. Plus when you record with them, you can put a mic on the back and get a really nice, full sound combined with a mic on the front.

so it doesnt really matter what kind of speakers that come with the avatar cab...I assume all of them are good...

It depends. Different speakers sound differently. Some are better for metal, some for classic rock. If you are getting a cab from them, I highly recommend that you do some research and determine what speakers will best meet your needs.

I've got an Avatar B115 Neo. I haven't tried to use the tweeter in it for awhile because it crackled heavily. I also had to resolder one of the capacitors back onto the tweeter control, it fell off and out of the cab, and I was lucky enough to find it.
it sounds great...maybe i've got a dud in terms of reliability. aside from those two things though, i haven't had any problems.

hmmmm the orange avatar speaker with celestion 30's or any orange avatar speaker hasnt been listed on ebay for the past few days...anyone know if it's "hot summer sale" is over?

I dont use their cabinets but Ive bought speakers from Avatar for both my ÷13 and my Marshall cabs and they are a great company to buy from. I'll definately use them again when I need speakers.
