question for POD xt live users
Question: i just lost my Dl 4 delay and was thinking of just getting a pod xt live instead of replacing the dl 4. are the delays on the xt the same as the DL 4? will it let me only use it for effects and bypass everything else so i can keep the true tone of my amp and just turn on and off things like chorus, delay, tremolo....i use to have the gnx 3 and it would only bypass everything at once so you would have to use delay and an amp modeler which is what i dont want Answer: The PODxt Live constins a Boss Dm-2 model, a MemoryMan, an Echoplex, a Roland Space Echo, "Sweep Echo", straight digital delay in 4 flavors, digital delay, stereo delay, ping pong delay, and reverse delay, Tape Echo (Echoplex model), a Binson EchoRec, and a couple more. You can bypass anything along the chain you want to bypass. You can use any FX you want without an amp/cab model on. Answer: thats awesome. how would you rate the quality of the delay? better than single pedals? Answer: I'll say if you like the DL-4, you'll probably like the POD. Answer: Yup. They are both Top-o-the-Line products from Line 6, so i'm sure the sound is at the very least similar. I wouldn't be worried. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
