Answer: that thing looks beastly huge! Answer: I'm a tube snob, but I'll say it...... it's about time. Answer: *tries to resist the temptation* That think looks fine, kinda... real amps are better, though. Answer: Lincoln Brewster plays through a POD live and he sounds awesome. Answer: Originally Posted by guitarfreak217 what isn't a microsoft scheme nowadays. An Apple scheme? Hmm, insteresting pedal. I don't think I'll be getting one, too expensive, but if I ever get there...? Who knows. I'm playing through a POD in church right now. Great sound. Not much versitility, unless I want to kneel down and twist a few knobs -Nick Answer: Originally Posted by guitarfreak217 of course real amps are better. you can't expect a pedal to sound like a whole amp, it doesn't have speakers, duh. Hmm... I thought it was a pre-amp? But, then again, that still isn't an amp. Tube amps are the R0X0r! Answer: It's about time they did this. The POD was almost too much trouble because of the lack of footswitchability. I think I'd still opt for the Vox Tonelab though, just because I've played that thing and it's pretty wicked. Or better yet, just get the Vox Valvetronix, or a Carvin MTS3212 (ok, so it's the only tube amp there, but, I would venture to guess that it's gonna be my tube amp one day, provided they make a 3 channel version). Either way, my Spider is treating me well, so I'll stick with that for now. Answer: i can honestly say im not a tube snob as i have no clue the diff between tube, or solid state. which reminds me. what is the difference?
