So I got a new amp.. 'Tis a carvin half stack with a crate head on it. It has a button labeled Effects Loop. What is that?
Answer:
An effect loop usually has an in and an out. If you were to put effects in the effects loop, you would connect the "out" of the effects loop to the "in" of the effects, then the "out" of the effects to the "in" of the effects loop. If there is a button, it's probably to activate or deactivate the effects loop. If you don't see the effects loop jacks on the front, they're probably on the back.
