Answer:
All I can tell you is that I have had nothing but good experainces with Peavey amps.
I currently have thier Ultra 112 (all tubbed) and it rocks my face off!
What kind of music do you play? Peavey are great for hard rock and jazz.
I've never played this version of the amp, but I can't imagine it would sound any less good than a bandit, which sounds awesome.
Answer:
I play mostly classical, rock & praise n worship..
basicly i am looking for amp that is
-suitable for jamming studio
-foot switch
-less than US$500
hmmm....
Answer:
I totally reccomend Peavey's all tube amps. The Classic 30 is awesome. If you can possibly find a used Ultra, those are awesome too.
Answer:
i've heard nothing but good things from peavey's all tube amps... although the amp you posted looks like it is solid state...
as a general rule, stay away from most solid state amps. i would recommend reading the sticky posts at the top of the forum "Tube snobbery?" and "How to buy and Amp"

Answer:
actually, the peavey transtube technology has been acclaimed for it's tube like qualities, more so than others.
i know almost everyone here is in love with peavey products, but i'd like to insert my suggestion. check out the Carvin Belair or Nomad. they are all tube amps that have vintage like clean tones (sparkly clean - which fits worship music well) and are amazing deals. the dirty channel is really good too for vintage sounding stuff.
Answer:
Don't get it!
Take Rainer's advice and get yourself a Peavey Classic 30 (on eBay). You can pick one up for less than $400 (including shipping). It will be louder, last longer, and sound better.
Answer:
Their xxx like is much better than that, good deal used to.

They both have their uses. The XXX/Ultra/Triumph/Bravo series all are great if you want gobs of gain. The Classic 30 is good for styles that require less gain, though.
