I was wondering. What type of tap tempo effects do you guys use and what tempos do you set them to. I'm really looking for different ideas for taps outside of the typical delay...like tremolo, phase speed, rotary speed, etc. Any cool ideas anyone?

Really the only effect besides delay that I would find a tap tempo useful for would be tremelo. However, pedals with it are quite rare. The only two i've seen are the Line 6 Tremelo, and the Cusack Tremelo (which is analog with a digital tempo section - this means very spendy).
As for speeds...I generally use quarter note and triplet settings going with the songs tempo.

Delay is really the only effect for which tap tempo is useful. Anything with tempo based on an LFO will just end up out of time. The case for/against tap tempo.

I set my tremolos on tap tempo so I can change the rate on the fly with my feet.
