I've got my distortion pedal! And best of all..I got it for FREE!!!
I was playing my guitar today and really really getting frustrated with my lack of tone when my MM was on, and I started venting about it to my brother. So he walks out of the room and I start stewing inwardly about this problem and then he walks back into the room holding the Boss Metal Zone I mentioned in my other post!!! The store had sold it to HIM! Needless to say...I really could hardly believe my eyes. And now I can hardly believe my ears...it's everything that my MM was, plus everything I wanted it to be. Thanks to my newly all-analog signal chain I am currently in TONE HEAVEN!!!
Just thought I'd throw this out there for your reading pleasure. And thanks a bundle for all your assistance with my distortion dilemma!

Haha, yeah....a REAL steal. You should just hear how it sounds boosted with my ts7, and using my wah to play the Star Spangled Banner......the difference is UNREAL!
