Which one to keep?
Question: Through my special friend Ebay, I just acquired a VS H2O and an Electroharmonix Small Clone. I probably will only keep one and sell the other one. I have heard good things about both, but does anyone else have any opinions? Which one would you keep and why? thanks Answer: Originally Posted by Dave H Through my special friend Ebay, I just acquired a VS H2O and an Electroharmonix Small Clone. Which one would you keep and why? thanks The H2O looks a lot more versatile. I'll be getting my Small Clone in a few days! Answer: That's sort of what I'm thinking, although I don't really need any delay - my DD-6 is great. On the other hand, having both I ought to be able to get some really sweet sounds. Answer: just wondering, why'd you buy both? Personally, I'd keep both, so you can have chorused delay, or delayed chorus....or chorused delayed chorus...or..... what I do when weeding out pedals is this: I put everything on my board and play it that way for a few weeks. then, when I've gotten to know them I pull off the ones I haven't stepped on in a while. Answer: That's more or less what I was going to do. I bought both because I bid on both... Seriously, I was able to get them both for great prices. The H2O came yesterday and looks as good as brand new - with box, instructions, everything. Answer: If you decide to get rid of the Small Clone let me know because I've been interested in buying one of those if I could come across a good deal. Answer: had more than a bit of experience with both. Since you already have a delay (and your boss is more useable than the H20 imho) I say keep the small clone. I think you'll find that there are sounds you can get out of the small clone that you can't get out of the H20. Answer: Originally Posted by Casey had more than a bit of experience with both. Well, I haven't had any oppurtunity to play with them outside of sitting next to my computer at low volume levels, but so far, I think it's the small clone. At first I didn't like it as much, but I guess you could say it's growing on me. I like the one knob operation too. I've set them both up on my board though, so I can try them playing with a band. Although, since I'm not playing anywhere right now, that could be a while Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
