Need Help Choosing Amp
Question: price range 200-300$ and just need a little insight on an electric amp. Answer: Musical style? Situations you play in? Answer: Get an ephiphone valve junior head. If you look hard enough, you can find a Peavey Bravo in that price range, which can easily do metal. Perhaps maybe even an Ultra or Triumph, also versatile hi gain amps. Perhaps maybe even an Ultra or Triumph, also versatile hi gain amps. exactly, and I mentioned the 20 over the 30 for 2 reasons. 1) It would be sufficient for the needs he mentioned. 2) It has tended to run less than the 30 lately when I have seen it. though the 30 is a great amp too. Carvin has some good low wattage tube amps as well. (The vintage series perhaps?) I have no experience with them personally, but have seen them quite a bit in the used market as something that might be worth trying out. Answer: Yeah, when I give reccs, I tend to just give the folks a slew of options, makes the used pickings easier to find. Answer: You can find a classic 30 on Ebay for 300.
