Diezel (soundclip... of me!)

Question:
I got to spend some time in my friend's studio this weekend so we could play around on protools. I ended up playing on his 2003 model Diezel Herbert amp. This thing is amazing. It's gotta go down in the annals of guitar as one of the best metal amps ever made. I was loving my tone the whole time.
The lead line is using a Boss autowah. and nevermind the drums, those were just sequenced using reason. We've yet to lay down some real drum tracks.
I'm very interested in you guys' impression of the guitar tone specifically. Comment away!
Answer:
Mmmm... metal. That's what I'm talking about! Lets see if I can record some good clips of my own amp and put them on here... Just to see where $400 goes as opposed to $4000.
What mic did you use? Overall, good tone. I probably could appreciate it more if I actually played the amp... So, any way to ship that amp to Washington?
And could that snare be any louder?!
Answer:
nice, i really like your tone!
Answer:
that sounds really good.

Answer:
Well, as a comparison tool. I played the exact same thing on my gear as you did, using my Squier Bullet into a Morley Wah and then the Yamaha T50C... Here's the result. I panned your clip to the left and my copy (rather badly played... ) to the right. Ignore the crappy phaser I used at the end.
The Diezel has more of a Marshallesque tone as opposed to the Mesa-like Yamaha. However, I feel that some tone was lost in your recording, e.g. degraded by processing.
Answer:
Mm your tone makes me drool...haha (just kidding about the drool.) Tone is awesome, nice and crunchy.
Answer:
it's soo nice and metallic.. titanium and iron are less metallic... very nice..

Of course, Rainer came the closest to figuring it out. I heard this sound clip through my friend's mac the other day and I realized what I difference it made through what speakers you hear it through.
Well guys, basically I deceived you all - for a purpose though. The sound clip in the first post of this thread is actually my Line 6 Pod plugged straight into protools modeling a Diezel 2003 Herbert Amp. The Wah is Line 6's answer to boss's autowah.
Thoughts? Comments? Flames?
If most of the guitarists that answered this thread couldn't tell, then how will your audience. I can tell you that when I played this thing through a PA and also hearing it through studio monitors, my jaw dropped. The tone of this thing will never cease to amaze me.
Answer:
What song is this?

Since everything you said sounds basically like gibberish to me and so did everything in your first post (since I am really not up and up on latest and greatest guitar and sound gear), I'm not upset at all. Tone still sounds awesome, and that's what counts
And if you ever ever put vocals on this, or real drums, or make it an "official" song, please tell us

Answer:
That snare is really loud.... but the tone is good
Answer:

Answer:
Eh, sounds too sterile to me. Whatever that means!
