How important is the cab?

Question:
If hypotheticaly, I bought an Orange Rockverb or something (ha, in my dreams) how much of a difference would it be if I ran it through say an Epiphone Triggerman cab or an Orange cab? Would it be a huge difference?
Answer:
Um...YES.
The speakers and the cab are the final link in the chain. They convey what your audience hears. Many cabs are made of Baltic Birch and such because of its resonant qualities and ability to hold bass frequencies well without rattling.
Closed.Open.Semi-open. Makes a difference too.

Closed.Open.Semi-open. Makes a difference too. Indeed. I've owned a Mesa Cab and my band owns a Fender 4x12. The Mesa was MUCH louder than the Fender through the same amp at the same settings. The speakers were much higher quality and a higher quality build.
