Question: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/produ...Amp?sku=480288 look very promicing IMO. Some of yuo guys out there that are amp searching might want to check this one out Answer: That's interesting. Although I would imagine that it wouldn't sound like 500$. We'll have to see. Answer: Definately looks cool, I'd like to try one out. Answer: I've recently joined the valve junior group, and that amp makes me want to see what else they have out now. I'll have to see if there is one in the area I can check out Answer: I wish GC would carry them in store (atleast the ones in houston). Id love to get my hands on one of those. If nothing else, just to see how it stacks up against the VJ, and the palomino amps. Answer: I got a new musician's friend catalog today and they did a review on this amp and the new Epi SoCal50 head and Cab. Both recieved incredibly favorable reviews, essentially saying that this is a professional quality amp at an incredibly low price. I really want to try one now Answer: Originally Posted by Dave H I got a new musician's friend catalog today and they did a review on this amp and the new Epi SoCal50 head and Cab. You have to take those reviews with a grain of salt Answer: Originally Posted by jamforchrist123 They said that about the Behringer amps. You have to take those reviews with a grain of salt Indeed. I've never read a bad review in a catalog. It would be detrimental to sales. Answer: Too expensive. Answer: Originally Posted by thomaspg70 Its not a peavey Of course its not. If it's anything like the VJ's I would imagine it would sound better than $500.... That said, I just want them to release a matching extension speaker cab for my babies....either a 2x12 or 4x10 would be just fine Answer: Originally Posted by jamforchrist123 They said that about the Behringer amps. I really want to try one now yeh, musicians friend always has very positive reviews in their catalog, no matter what they are reviewing. never seen a negative review or a detailed discussion of a drawback w/ the particular item. i've played some things that they said are great and that were pretty crappy.
