Hi my friend needs a small practice amp for home use.
He doesn't need any kind of effects or anything special on it. Just something small and cheap because our church has a huge amp.
Can you all recommend anything?

My buddy has a Vox Pathfinder 15R that is very good for the money. You could probably get one used for less than $100.

Crate's not bad for a 15W practice amp... i have one, was my first amp, it wasn't good, but it wasn't as bad as (random example of ultimate musical badness, for me it would be NSYNC being played everywhere i went all the time, just like the late 90's)

Go for a valve Junior. It'll blow the crate out of the water. A roland Micro cube might be fine for some... but I would get, did get, a valve junior.
