What do you use to.....

Question:
what do you use to record songs? I dont want anything too expensive, I just want to record little tunes I have made up with my acoustic guitar, want somthing thats under $100, think I will find anything that cheap that will do what I am looking for? I want to record them to put up on my website, (coming soon!)
Answer:
I use a cheap $10 PC mic, and a freeware recording program called GoldWave. The program is a demo tho, and it'll expire. I used it to record a lot, and it gives some pretty nice results...
Answer:
what mic do you use? and how long does the program last? How long do you get it for free? Could you use those headphones with the part you talk into, or no? Could I use a cp cam? With a mic built in?
Answer:
It's a cheapo Labtec brand mic I got years and years ago. The program lasts for 3000 program commands. It worked for about 6 months when I used it. You can basically use anything with a mic, provided that the sound goes into the computer's sound card.
Answer:
Okay thanx, I found it, I downloaded it, and I recorded happy birthday, and I sent it to my cousin, caus its her birthday. Thanx alot!
Answer:
Heres a song, its called Turn your eyes upon Jesus, its not the chords, I changed them a little bit, but they stilll sound great! (not words)
(how do I upload songs?)
Answer:
I use a program called Acid. I also use soundforge. No, I didn't buy them...I got them through er, sources that will remain anonymous.
Besides that, I use a tiny mic that I bought like 4 years ago. It's a sony mic, that's really used to record things onto minidisc players. It's a good mic and I still use it to record small things. But I'm haven't gotten to really uploading songs anywhere.
Answer:
This belongs in recordings : D.

I could tell you a bunch of little digital recorders, that I would recommend for beginners, but I don't know of anything under or about $100. You could search ebay for "Digital 4 track: or something like that. I dunno.

The best computer mic set up for me though, was a head phone/mic that phone operators wear. Those mics reproduce in great quality.
