ATA Case: Make or buy?
Question: I recently acquired a new Vox Valvetronix AD50VT (IT ROCKS!). When unloading it from my car I nicked (sp?) it and a tiny bit of the tortex cover came off. It was no big deal, but it made me wonder what a semi-hard impact could do to it, or any other amp for that matter. I want something like this: Amp Case Would it be cheaper to make this myself? Or buy it at that price? If I made it, could someone hook me up with some plans to make one? Thanks Answer: Originally Posted by SoapbarII I recently acquired a new Vox Valvetronix AD50VT (IT ROCKS!). Thanks the casters alone could cost you up to 40 bucks depending on the quality and weight. with all the high quality handles, locks, and metal binding all in it would cost you just as much to buy one new. imo Answer: Note that those cases don't come with casters... I swear I already replied in this thread, but it's not here... You might get by a little cheaper building it yourself, but consider the labor involved as well. I got a case from those guys for our 32 channel board and it's very sturdy and nicely built. Can't really go wrong with one of those. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
