vox tonelab se

Question:
I'm thinking about buying this thing...tell me....does anyone know how the effects loop on it works? Specifically, where does it appear in the chain?? What comes before it and after it? Is it serial or parallel? If you own this device, what is your opinion of it overall??....thanks!.....~Shawn
Answer:
Its ok doesnt really sound goood into an amp and the effects loop you run it in and you have to turn it off so it turns off any other stomp box moeling on that pedal after you do that.
Answer:
Looks like the effects loop is the first thing in the chain. This unit won't do what I wanted...I had hoped the loop was between the pre amp and the time based effects...I was goint to go out of the loop to my Crate V-32, mic that with a small mackie mixer, take the output of the mackie back in the tonelab, the listen with a good full range speaker.....seems to me that the loop in this thing doesn't make much sense....if you wanted to put a *whatever* pedal before EVERTHING, then just put it before the tonelab.....I don't get the advantage of having a loop with nothing at all before it....
Answer:
Yeah its a wierd pedal bascially if your going into the system or recording this pedal is good then you can still drive tubescreamers and stuff,
