Question:
If you had to pick, which one would u get?
I have a martin and LOVE it, so i personaly think martin is probably 12 times better then taylor...more full(with elixers)
Answer:
Apples vs. Pears.
Though I'd pick Taylor.
Answer:
This should be in the guitar forum. Also, I think that it's all a matter of opinion, and objectively speaking, no guitar is better than another, only preferential due to a subjective bias.
Answer:
Yes - pretty subjective. I don't care for Taylor necks as a rule, but have played Martins I wouldn't give you a quarter for, too.
Answer:
I'd get the Tayor...T5

As for Martin vs. Taylor.... verrrry different guitars as far as I'm concerned. But, I'd go for the Taylors any day, simply because I've had a better experience with then and overall like the sound of their guitars better.
Answer:
Neither, I would get a Seagull.
Both seem like well made guitars to me. Seems me the choice is mostly a matter of tonal preference. One of the reasons I chose the Seagull was that the tone was somewhere between a Taylor and a Martin.
Answer:
Taylor
Answer:
Which Martin and which Taylor?
Too many variables in both makes to draw a general conclusion but I will say that in my experience I've enjoyed playing Martin guitars more than Taylors.
That said, I too would pick a Seagull over either.
Answer:
I love the deep sound my martin has, to me their more versitle then taylors
Answer:
It should be a pretty well known fact, though, that Taylor has a monopoly on the CCM industry.
In my folk group, one of us plays a Taylor, one of us plays a Martin, and one of us plays a Seagull. We all still sound like ourselves however many times we swap around guitars, though.

Does it matter?
Answer:
Taylor's are bright sounding. Martin's are full-sounding? Verdict? Martin.
