Answer: This week we will be having our short term mission team share with the congregation about their trip up to Garden River in northern Alberta. They visited one of the native reserves and witnessed five people get baptized in a rivers up there. It will be enlightening to hear about the spiritual needs of these people and that missions work really should happen all around us in our communities and our daily lives. I think too often I think of a missions trip as being to Africa or Central America (when in fact, African churches will likely be sending missions here to N. America in large proportions soon). You don't have to travel far at all to do missions work. /aside Consuming Fire (G) - Tim Hughes What Can I Do (G) - Paul Baloche & Graham Kendrick Majesty (Here I Am) (Am) - Martin Smith Special Missions Song: Fearless (D) - Building 429 (music vid in case some of you haven't seen/heard it) http://video.google.ca/videoplay?doc...q=building+429 Answer: Series: The world according to Jesus: Stories of the Kingdom (cont'd) Instrumental prelude Welcome, Intro Service, Get Connected, Prayer We Fall Down with Holy, Holy, Holy Holy, Holy, Holy (Traditional) Holy, Holy, Holy (Oliver) Jesus Loves Me Baby Dedication Pastoral prayer/Offering Let's Talk about: interviewing South African Missionaries with PowerPoint going on in the background All I Once Held Dear Word: The unforgiving debtor Wonderful Merciful Saviour Next Event Benediction (Lord You've Led Me..) I really do know how to spell it Answer: Originally Posted by Nate Agnus Dei = "ogg"+"noose" "day"+"ee" = the "Lamb" (agnus) of "God" (Dei) That's the anglicized way to say it. If you want to sound "legit" (like the Romans would have said it), it's more like: "On - yoose" + "De - ee" Nate Answer: Answer: Originally Posted by Kenny C. Kind of a weird way to be when you're new on the job. Sounds like crap - will be praying for you and the rest of your team. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
