A couple of songs [RC]
Question: Things you need to know before critiquing or even reading the lyrics: when I write, I have a full group in mind. The emphasis in the songs I write/imagine is never on lyrics, but on vocals and instruments accntuating each other to make a more fully conveyed sentiment achievable. [/pompous] Not titled. Suggestions for a title would be good. Bear in mind it is a work of fiction and is completely fabricated. Oh yes. Getting dressed this morning I made myself a promise. I was going to write you a letter and tell you about my day. “Dear madam, my love, my day was all about you. I miss you all the time, I wish you were here beside me.” But it doesn’t do me any good, it don’t make me feel better. It leaves me cold and empty, cold and full and empty. I’m going to buy me some new aviators, wear them like a man. I’m going to buy me a new car, to match the glasses. And somewhere between the women, wine and magical dust I suppose I’ll find a way to make you go away. The letter's trash, it's in the garbage, I'll burn it after sundown. It ended on a sour note. "It's not you or me, it's everything else, baby." Answer: Is Jason trying to be emo? Answer: Nope. I just felt like mocking emo, that is all. How do you like the title? "A couple of songs." PRETTY CLEVER, EH?! I LURE THEM IN BY MAKING THEM THINK THEY WILL GET TO READ A WHOLE ALBUM. YESSS. Ahem. Answer: Jason Murdockman, stop trying to be like me and Andrew...
