Ms. Rocket Scientist (Advises Brain Surgery) (RC).
Question: This is...A bit unusual, it came out of nowhere one day while I was playing my guitar and pondering the incident this retells. The only real purpose might be to express my bewilderment. That said, I'm sure I can rely on you to rip into it as much as needed. Ms. Rocket Scientist (Advises Brain Surgery) As I jauntily emerge from the restroom door, I offer my aid to a lad lying on the floor, An oncoming young lady with a tilt of her head, States that I need help and then politely recommends, That I really ought to seek, Brain surgery, Brain surgery, Brain surgery, Without slowing down I inquire which kind, My new friend suggests an operation for the mind, I pass through the nearby double doors into light rain, Bewildered by the recent discussion of my brain, Oughtn’t we all be ashamed, Talking to perfect strangers, we don’t ask names. Brain surgery, Brain surgery, Out in the rain, I skip to where the automobile is parked, I scratch my wet hair in puzzlement and then I start the car. Brain surgery, Brain surgery, Answer: hahaha this is cool! the first line its kinda weird, depending on how you sing it. But i like it...awesome dude!...lol Brain surgery, got stuck in my head...im gonna be singing it all day. Answer: Brilliant. Haha. It may just be that I finally got some Sufjan music this week, but it reminds me of his writing. It would make a great mellow, oddly-orchestrated folk song along the lines of the stuff he does. Yeah, the first line may be dangerous, rhythm-wise, but I don't think it'll turn into a huge problem. Thanks. Originally Posted by Nate Brilliant. Haha. Thank you! I appreciate the comparison with Sufjan, but I don't think I've ever heard any of his music. I've been thinking and half-heartedly planning to pick some up for awhile, and you've again piqued my interest. Hmm. I'm thinking I may try for the the oddly-orchestrated folk, since my original attempt turned into a loud blues stomp. Thanks for the comments! Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
