Help on song line-up
Question: Hey guys, this coming June 17 our city will be celebrating its 50th Charter Day. Praise God because the city government have already recognized us born again christians and we are given a big part in the celebration. On this day Christians of our city coming from the different denominations will hold a Praise and Worship Service at our City Plaza. Present during the day will be our city mayor and other government officials. The highlight of the celebration is, we will officialy dedicate our city to the Living God and declare that Jesus is the Lord of our city with our government officials lead by our city mayor making that covenant. I am previlege to be part of the worship team and by the way our theme for this occassion is "Bless Iligan City". We already lined up a couple of songs but were still looking for some that will reflect the theme of this celebration. So please fell free to fill-in. These are the songs that we have prepared. 1. Blessed - Hillsong 2. One Day - Hillsong 3. For all You've done - Hillsong 4. I am free - Ross Parsley 1. Our Hearts, Our Desire - (Dont know the artist) :) 2. How Great is our God - Tomlin We need two more songs on the second part. Thank you and God bless! Answer: Not to Us - Chris tomlin Bless the Lord - Jeff Deyo Thats just 2 that i thought might fit the "theme" Answer: My Desire - Jeremy Camp Ancient of Days - Traditional P&W Song And if you want to do a hymn, a good one is To God be The Glory Answer: have you heard of "as sure as gold is precious (this city, these streets)" by Robin Mark? sounds like it would fit perfectly. here are the lyrics, I can send you the chords and a recording if you want?
