worship team scheduling program
Question: just wanted to know what program/how you guys keep things organized in terms of scheduling practice, keeping track of songs etc. is there a free (or low cost) program you could suggest so i could start establishin' some order with the team here?? thanks! Answer: Welcome to CGR. I'm not sure I understand the question. Perhaps it would help to know how big your church and/or team is. I use a mental calendar to schedule practices, a word processor to write chord charts, and binders to hold them. Is that what you're asking? Answer: Originally Posted by Nate Welcome to CGR. We have a team of about 14 members, a nice comfy size. We're in the process of organizing the structure of the team i.e when will they be playing X instrument/ who is available to play/ who will be leading that sunday and so forth. I could use excel to type up song list/make a team information sheet but was wondering if there was a good useful (cheap/free) software/program that would enable me to do all the things mentioned above in one program, making it accessible to the team members so that they too can log on, update the calendars and so forth?? sorry. i hope this makes more sense. Answer: try out http://calendar.google.com for that. you can put quite a bit of info in each "event", which might work perfectly for organizing your sunday's and practices. as far as song organization, i THINK song select from CCLI does that, but i'm not sure. if not, your best bet is to make a word document for each song, then organize them in folders on your computer or on a website. patrick.
