Plugged or Unplugged?

Question:
Which worship setting do you like the better? Plugged in, or unplugged?
I prefer unplugged because most of the time you're not on a platform/stage and it seems more intimate to me.

For me it depends on whether the people are ''plugged or unplugged''. If they are seeking His face, it's good.

I like that.
Answer:
I like to be plugged in and loud, mainly.
But, I also like to just have two acoustics and play unplugged sometimes.

I'm probably more like you too. I'm a rocker at heart, really. Yet I also love an unplugged worship session. I guess it depends on what the situation calls for.
Answer:
In a worship setting, i usually prefer to be plugged but quiet, with nice reverb on the guitars. But acoustic can be gd as well.
Answer:
Depends on my mood. Home group is acoustic, church could be either, as I have a piezo in my strat and I can sound acoustic(ish) at the press of a footswitch. If I'm solo, probably acoustic.....

I suppose I really depends on everyone els's tst, but to be honest, I know more rockers than than swayers If you catch my drift...
Answer:
I have to agree with basically everyone and say plugged.

I like Hillsong songs like All day, which is definately plugged
Answer:
Both. Ratio of 1 unplugged to four plugged.
Answer:
I've been thinkin about this. Plugged. I like the ability to control volume and tone that an elecrtic guitar provides. Easier to play too. I've done many home church meetings with a Strat and Gallien Krueger amplifier.
Besides, when nothing else is happening, I can play the opening solo from Carry On My Wayward Son.

I'm slowly turning more and more towards unplugged...I don't know why.
Answer:
This morning I got together with my men's group - which only consists of four of us - and I felt like singing some songs this morning so I brought my guitar and singing a few songs turned into a really cool time of spontaneous worship. Unplugged worship is cool when that happens, it's a whole different feel to the music. I still like both though.

Because all instruments that are not by nature electronic or electromechanical sound better without the aid of external amplification devices. Seriously. When's the last time you said "Wow! I just LOOOOVE the way that piano sounds when it's recorded... so much better than live!" Orchestral instruments display this even moreso.
Answer:
I prefer unplugged. That's how I play at camp and everyone gets into it moreso than any time I've ever played plugged.
I think my favourite time leading worship is at the high school campout at the camp I work at. Especially this summer when we had two guitars, two djembes, and everyone (save for a few "I'm too cool's") singing.
