Are You Ready (RC)
Question: Poem I wrote a few months back. I think I am a decent songwriter but I still have quite a few flaws (hence wanting any advice, harsh or not). The poem musically would be a moderate speed rock song. Look to the Skies Listen to the Wind Revolution is coming About to begin War among the nations Least of our problems The Beast is in waiting For his chance to strike Gather the Lord’s armies Young and old Prepare yourself now Are You Ready? Where are the people Where is the cry The horizon is filled With righteous soldiers War is coming Only one resolution So tell me dear children Are you ready for the revolution? The mighty weapons we wield Shall never falter The enemy is craving battle We crave as well Lift up our voices Draw our swords Let the white stallion Lead us to Satan’s hordes We’ve waited long Gathering the armies The trumpets are blaring Are you ready? There it is. Have at it. Answer: Good song over all. You may want to do something with the title because when I hear it or see it all I think about is that creed song. But I liked the song as a whole. Where are the people Where is the cry The horizon is filled With Righteous soldiers War is coming Only one resolution So tell me dear children Are you ready for the revolution? This is the only part of the song that threw me off. You said where are the people. Then you answered yourself with the next line. What is the resolution? Whose children are you talking too? Maybe I'm just too tired to think right, right now. I'll come back and look at this later. But I did like the song over all. One Love Jake Answer: Well as to your question i dont know hehe...i write sporadically and sometimes i dont make sense....um...the people could be about the people who arent ready to fight Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
