What are your thoughts on each of these three A's as they relate to songwriting? Do you prefer one technique over the others? Do you try to avoid any particular one of them? How do you generally implement them? Do you use them in combination, or separately?

Answer:
I use them when I can, when they fit. Alliteration comes to me a little easier than assonance. Really, I need to use more assonance in my writing. I've never used too much allusion in my songwriting; when they do appear, it's generally because they were the genesis of the song idea.
