Question: Something I jotted down in Chem class today. Rip it to shreds. Visit the brown house On the hill You feel the same, but You're so ill. Hanging on a bat's bright wings Trying to reach the sky Walk to the green Open spaces To your old Hidden places Longingly looking at the moon It's low beacause you're so high. They're looking out for amity They're looking out for amity They're lashing out at amity They're looking now for amity They're looking out for amity Will they find their amity Or will it always be gone? Answer: I don't understand it. Or perhaps this is due to lack of sleep. Answer: It is quite ambiguous; however I kinda like that it doesn't explicitly tell what's going on. However, it does need a bit more to tell what the speaker is going through. I can picture the scenery just fine, but I don't quite know what's going through his/her mind. A couple of ideas: I sense a contemplative, "looking back" mood. Maybe you can go with that a bit more... tell what the speaker is thinking about from his/her past, what happened to him or her, etc. What is this amity they are seeking? Where can it be found? Where are they? Who are "they, for that matter. Describe a bit more. Good start though. I look forward to reading more. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
