I'm rather looking forward to playing the solo on "He Saved us...". I never had the theoretical knowledge to play a decent solo on it before, but now I do, so. Yay. I could never play half the solo that my first guitar teacher would have though. Amazing stuff. Also looking forward to Be Thou My Vision. Fun arrangement by the master himself.

The choir will also be doing some stuff. One of the songs is "Unashamed Love" from Ten Shekel Shirt's Lamont Hebiert (sp?), and the other is some song called "All Creation Worships You" that, if I remember correctly, is an old old old Maranatha tune.

Hi there. Today was an awesome Sunday. I had the weekend off from participating on the worship team, but I was asked to fill in a bit on PowerPoint which was cool. I could worship in the balconey and sing my heart out freely.

The guest speaker, Raj Sandhu, a former Sikh, now a pastor in a nearby city, spoke on The Tears of Jesus, about Jesus weeping over Jerusalem and the things that made Him weep.

Here I Am, Wholly Available - The first two verses were sung as solos by two members of the worship team with the congregation on the chorus "Here I am, wholly available. As for me, I will serve the Lord" and then altogether on the third verse.
An invitation to move forward to recommit ourselves to pray and evangelism, to weep about those things that make God weep.
Great Awakening was scheduled but was pulled as it did not fit the mood of the moment...repentence and recommitment.
